The local payment is not a kitty but forms part of the total tour cost and ensures our tour leaders have a supply of money, as at times the transferral of funds can be problematic. The local payment, in conjunction with the tour price you pay your travel agent, is used to finance the local running costs of the tour and is completely non-refundable.
