Why is there a $50 deposit per day for reserving dates to sponsor?

This is to prevent jokers who have no intention of being a legitimate sponsor from reserving a bunch of dates. Serious sponsors who reserve dates will have this deposit deducted from their future sponsor contribution. For example, Group Z reserves April 1, 2010. They put a $50 deposit to hold that reservation. Then I end up doing say 500 pushups on that day. Normally their contribution would be $500, but because the deposit is deducted, they only contribute $450.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
