Why is the Yahoo! Toolbar offered by default?
Macromedia wants the relationship with Yahoo! to be as successful as possible. Thus, we have set the default settings to encourage installation of the Yahoo! Toolbar. We are continually monitoring install statistics and user feedback and will adjust the install process as necessary in order to ensure the continued adoption of Flash Player.
