Why is the worldwide frog population declining?

Answer Hello, Depre… Amphibians respire through their skins, taking oxygen directly into the blood stream. Habitat pollution levels toxic to amphibians tend to be of a very low level, compared to levels affecting other organisms. Amphibians are sort of the “canary in the mine” for earth’s aquatic surface habitats. Air and water pollution, radiation (ozone hole), and local point source pollution of water and air are all thought to be contributing to the decline. I am sure you will find lots of info if you Google (declining amphibian populations).
