Why is the wireless network data transfer rate is slow?
There are two possibilities: 1. User is far from the AP (access point). Closer to AP means data transfer rate is high. A user can see the variable rates ranging from 11Mbps to 1 Mbps. 2. Since wireless network is shared network, its data transfer capability depends on how many users are using the same access point.
