…..it’s a WONDERFUL place to take the kids!!!!!!! If you do nothing else, you’ve GOT to let your kids “Ride the Ducks”! The “ducks” as I’m sure you know are the all terrain vehicles that travel on land and water. Then there’s The Tommy Bartlett Water Show — which is great live entertainment for the whole family. Though I haven’t been to the Dells in years, the format of Tommy’s shows doesn’t vary a whole lot. That being the case, if you like laser light shows make a point of going at night. If you like to see more action in the way of “people” performing both in and on the water, catch a day show. The “people” part of the show basically stays the same, but of course during the day you can see it all better, as naturally it’s all performed outside. Traditionally, the Thanksgiving holiday is a family affair, with plenty of fine food and good cheer. It is a perfect occasion for Aunt Martha to showcase her favorite recipes for turkey dressing and pumpkin pie; there are football games and long parades ready to provide welcome relief from Uncle Harry’s never-ending stories.
