Why is the WidSets dashboard on my mobile phone empty?

0

When you open WidSets for the first time after installing it on your mobile, you might not see any widgets on your dashboard. This is probably because you are offline and the dashboard has not been updated. If this is the case, check the access point you are using to log on to WidSets. The access points available vary according to service provider, but basically you’ll need to be able to access the Internet, e.g. via GPRS/Internet. The most important thing is that you are not using WAP settings, as they will not work for WidSets. Another possible cause could be your connection type. There are two options in your WidSets client under the heading ‘Options’ – ‘Application’ – ‘Settings’ – ‘Connection: Socket and HTTP’. Try switching between the HTTP and Socket connections. The default setting is a Socket connection, but if your service provider doesn’t support this form of connection, you may have to switch to HTTP.
