Why is the website called airodyssey.net?
Because each little airplane ride can be a little air odyssey! The website was first known as The Hangar in 1998. The name was then changed to airOdyssey a few months later, which was then styled as AIRodyssey following an association with now defunct Aviation Internet Resources (AIR). With the new domain name inaugurated on April 12, 2001, on the website’s third anniversary, the name became officially airodyssey.net. Read more about it in the history section.
