Why Is the Video Tiny and “Jerky”?
This is the Internet — and that’s the nature of streaming video on the Internet. Unlike TV, there’s limited “bandwidth.” Even with a fast connection (e.g., T-1 line, cable modem, DSL), the video is a small image (about 2 inches by 3 inches) and sometimes fuzzy and jerky. In addition to the speed of your connection, other factors that will affect the quality of the video image are the amount of traffic on the Internet when you are viewing the program, and the amount of traffic on your local area network if you are viewing it within a law firm. If you have a slow connection (e.g., a modem over a traditional telephone line), you may not be able to view video at all, but the audio should be clear, and the system provides substitutes for important video elements (e.g., slides).
