Why is the Vermigold Organic Waste Processor required to assist the Digester?
A. The Vermigold Organic Waste Processor is a specially designed shredder cum pulveriser to process the organic kitchen, garden, paper and cardboard waste before introducing the waste material (feedstock) in the Organic Digester. Generally the smaller the size of the feedstock, the easier it is for the composting worms to eat the waste. Therefore we use the Vermigold Waste-Crusher to reduce the size of the feedstock and avoid foul odour which could occur if the size of the feedstock is not reduced.
