Why is the Universal primer not added to the PCR reaction for the Endogenous controls?

0

The Endogenous controls have been designed with two gene specific PCR primers and therefore do not require the addition of the Universal reverse primer which is added to the microRNA PCR reactions. The Endogenous control primer mix is provided in the Endogenous control primer set as “PCR primers” (label marked with blue line). Please see the miRCURY LNA™ microRNA PCR system instruction manual page 20 for details on how to set up the reactions.
