Why is the u.s constitution important?

0

The US Constitution IS our government, without it we would have anarchy. When the US declared its independence from Great Britian, our first form of governmenrt was the Articles of Confederation. A confederation is a loose form of government. Well, it didn’t work, so the founding fathers, 55 of them met in Philadelphia to try to fix it. It couldn’t be fixed, so they chucked it and started from scratch. It is our government, we are able to amend and change it, it has grown with our country, it is what we fight for.
