The “Tut” experience for visitors will actually include two magnificent exhibitions. Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs will be shown at the Atlanta Civic Center, and the companion exhibition, Wonderful Things: The Harry Burton Photographs and the Discovery of the Tomb of Tutankhamun, will be shown at the Carlos Museum’s Emory campus location. Visitors to Emory will also have the opportunity to view the Carlos Museum’s permanent collection of ancient Egyptian art, the most comprehensive and distinguished collection of ancient Egyptian art in the Southeast.
