Why is the tuition due date for summer sessions different than the tuition due date for all other quarters (Fall, Winter, and Spring)?

The tuition due date for the regular quarters (Fall, Winter, and Spring) is always the first Friday of the first week of classes. However, because the College does not receive state funds for summer quarter, summer classes with no enrollment or very low enrollment by the prior Wednesday of the first day of the full Summer session are cancelled. This is why it is very important to pay by the due date to avoid having the class cancelled.
