Why is the Town going to lease Plummer?

0

The population of Falmouth continues to grow. Leasing the Plummer building will bring in revenue and permit the town to retain the property should future needs arise. This practice is not unique to Falmouth or new. When the Lunt building was vacated in the 1980’s, the town leased it out. When demographics changed, the building was available for public use once again. Leasing Plummer is a smart public/private partnership that will keep this valuable property in town ownership and will generate income.
