Thawte WildCard Certificates secures multiple sub domains multiple Fully Qualified Domain Names if they share the same base domain name, reside on the same physical server and share the same second level domain name. Thawte Trusted Seal is not being supported with a Wildcard Certificate.

Thawte® Wildcard SSL Certificates secure multiple subdomains with a single SSL Certificate using the wildcard notation (an asterisk and period before your domain name). Because the exact domain name cannot be determined from the SSL certificate information, Thawte Trusted Site Seal is not supported with a Wildcard SSL Certificate.
