This timing best controls both the PI and TAC workload. In December, the TAC will receive the new proposals and complete that work on January 31, 2007. The 05 Proposal work needs to be separated from the new proposal work, and this timetable best accomplishes that. The annual report is due on September 30, and it is logical to complete the FY2007 Proposal at about the same time. This timetable also permits you to make adjustments to the final budget in a timely fashion.
