Why is the Symphonic Masterpieces class the only one to count for a “Perspectives” (PLAS) requirement?
There are two music classes which are coded to fulfill a PLAS requirement: MUS 001 and MUS 008. One of the differences is that MUS 008 has a variable description, whereas MUS 008 does not. At this time, we can not offer a MUS 008 class to satisfy a PLAS requirement unless it is “The Politics of Music.” We are looking into making this definition more malleable in the future.
