The actual address for the point in the previous example was 210 Wall St, but the address on Wall St that the GetLocationInfo method returned was 250 Wall St. The MapPoint Web Service does not store house/building address numbers. As a result, actual addresses cannot be returned by the GetLocationInfo method. The house/building address numbers for both ends of the block are stored internally by the MapPoint Web Service. The ratio of the distance of the latitude and longitude along the block to the length of the entire block is determined. The MapPoint Web Service then calculates the house/building address number that, along the length of the entire block of house/building address numbers, exists at this ratio. The house/building address number of 250 is returned because the specified latitude and longitude is approximately halfway along the block between 200 and 300. So a house/building address number indicates about where along the block the latitude and longitude is, rather than indi
