Why is the stereotype that black people like fried chicken considered negative?

The only people that consider it “negative” are those with victim mentalities that look for the victimization in EVERY god forsaken thing. I’m from a southern holler so there are stereotypes that I enjoy absolutely anything fried in bacon fat…I don’t, but I don’t think its a “negative” stereotype that makes me a victim of something. Besides…like you say, stereotypes are based in truth, and I know plenty of country folks that love stuff fried in bacon grease. There’s just too many pansies out there that will never be man or woman enough to come to terms with the realities that create stereotypes….its so much easier to point the finger at others who observe and make note of the realities as being judgmental and racist. Let these same people encounter a pit bull for the tenth time after being attacked by one 8 or 9 times before…..let me assure they will react according to the STEREOTYPE they’ve created of pitbulls. If not, they would likely be from some far off galaxy of non-human
