Why is the Society holding a referendum on ABSs?

0

There has been concern expressed about the vote at the 2008 AGM. To provide clarity about the Society’s policy on ABSs and how it moves forward, the Society’s Council decided to hold a referendum of all 10,500 Scottish solicitors rather than have a vote at another general meeting. The Electoral Reform Service will run the referendum.
