Why is the snow leopard endangered?
The Snow Leopard is endangered for two main reasons. They are poached not only for their furs, but for their bones and organs as they are quite valuable in the use of Asian medicine. The other reason is the breakdown of their habitats. Many farmers over graze their livestock, depleting their environment of food for the Leopard’s prey, leaving an overall lack of food.
