Why is the site called Draconic?

KaniS originally wanted to call the site Dragonfire, mainly because he had done a cool-looking logo in an art class that said Dragonfire. Unfortunately (or fortunately), dragonfire.org had recently been purchased for use by the alt.fan.dragons newsgroup (what does dragonfire.org have to do with alt.fan.dragons, anyway?). So, KaniS went searching through available domain names, and draconic.com was his favorite of the ones available. Today, he is glad he didn’t call the site Dragonfire, and he feels that the name of Draconic is quite appropriate to the goals of the community. Plus, it just sounds cool!
