Why is the side zipper with the shoulder snaps only available in the Petite size?
The side/bottom zip and shoulder snaps allow the inika baby sleeping bag to be opened up flat. These features enable easy middle-of-the-night diaper changes for young babies. Older and more active babies, however, may undo the shoulder snaps and slip in or out of their sleeping bag. Without shoulder snaps, a front zipper still allows for easy diaper changes. The front zipper is also inverted, making it hard for your baby to unzip the sleeping bag on their own.
