Why is the shop obsessed with Christopher Walken?
A. As IMDB notes, he “has a reputation for playing mentally unbalanced characters,” which endeared him to the shop during the years of robert and Kirk. Walken’s defining role (in the eyes of Ex Libris) was Gabriel in “The Prophecy.” (“Mental unbalance” also explains the photos of Jack Nicholson and the one-time poster of the Sopranos.) Q. I don’t understand the Praxia and Dave cartoon. A. Well…you kinda had to be there. Let’s say that Praxia and Dave regularly had conversations of this nature when they were cashiers.
