Why is the service called “immediate”?

“Immediate” refers to same-day service for urgent problems. All the general practices in Mackay strive to “squeeze in” patients with urgent problems, but it is getting harder for them to do this, so MIMS aims to provide a service where people can get quality care on the day they need it, and then have their case handed back to their GP or specialist.
