The seismic survey is not concentrated around Blackville. It covers a number of seismic lines as far west as Coonabarabran, north to Gunnedah and east towards Quirindi. The locations have been selected to complement other seismic surveys conducted in the area and to minimise the number of core holes needed to be drilled.
