Why is the Safe-T-Beam® light blinking?

Safe-T-Beam® is a safety device that must be installed and operating properly in order for the garage door opener to work. If the Safe-T-Beam® LED indicator is flashing, it indicates an error condition. First be sure that the lenses are mounted 6″ from the floor on either side of the garage door opening. If the LED continues to flash, click here for a list of possible causes and solutions.
