Why is the ROE only available for scores earned since September 1998?
ETS has defined the ROE requirements based on scores earned on Praxis tests since March 1998. ETS’s tests are continuously updated to align with changing state licensure standards, and states typically accept scores for up to five years. To ensure that the target scores are appropriate given current standards and state requirements, ETS used the five-year period from March 1998 to March 2003 as a basis for defining the target scores.
