Why is the right to bear arms so important?
Allow me to add my voice to the chorus in stating that the right to arm bears, while not specifically protected in the Constitution, falls outside the power of the federal government to regulate in accordance with the 9th amendment, which states, “The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.” In other words, if I want to arm bears, that is my own business, and none of yours. Your question shows willful ignorance. Anyone can cure ignorance of the law by merely reading the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Willful ignorance, however, is, if you will pardon the abrupt term, stupid. You take refuge in not knowing the truth, and then proceed to despise it and ridicule it in a public forum, bringing only negative attention to yourself.
