The amount of the reward was determined after close consultation and at the recommendation of local and federal law enforcement officials. The tapes can be returned to the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office with no questions asked. Anyone with information about the tapes should call the Sheriff’s Office at (801) 743-7000.
