Why is the reunion in July during a week in which many people have planned vacations?
It was impossible to pick a date that would make everyone happy. When I decided to organize this reunion, I took an informal poll of some people I was in touch with and the summer seemed like the best idea. In fact, people with kids who will be traveling to attend specifically asked that it be during the summer because their kids will be out of school then. Moreover, our 10th reunion was in June, so I don’t think there was any precedent for having it in the fall. Finally, my goal was to make it as close to our graduation date as possible.
