To date the RAIC has agreed to explore a partnership with Athabasca University. A number of Canadian Architectural Schools were approached. All identified their need to focus on their core business of classroom-based education. Athabasca University is Canada’s Open University. AU and its partners, the open universities in the world, are strictly in the “distance learning ” business.
