The RAF/Ministry of Defence are responsible landowners, and understand the concerns of the general public with regard to this site. Environmental standards and legislation has changed significantly since Nancekuke operated as a chemical defence establishment and MOD and the RAF take their environmental responsibilities seriously. The site is being remediated voluntarily and to standards required by legislation.
