Why is the rear pin so tight?

The tightness of the rear pin contributes to the Colt .22 Rimfire Rifle’s accuracy. Be sure to loosen the compensator (flash suppressor) two (2) turns before removing the rear pin. This takes pressure off the pin and makes it easier to remove.
