Why is the profile information important in choosing the right doctor?
Much of the information in a profile is information you might also find on a doctor’s website or resume. Doctors frequently highlight this kind of information about themselves because it is important in that it helps prospective patients understand their background and qualifications. We add to this information from the public records (including disciplinary sanctions), patient ratings, and peer endorsements – all factors that we believe are relevant to determining a doctor’s qualifications.
