Who says it’s not considered cheating? Using walk-throughs is not cheating. It’s simply a manual that shows you shortcuts and how to beat the game easily. Using cheats is cheating. When using a cheat engine or kiddie hacks others will notice the user is cheating if on ‘multiplayer’.
