It uses a new stainless steel Flush Anchor component in place of the original permanently-installed lags which protruded from the exterior surface when not in use. The new Flush Anchor system uses a removable bolt that serves the same function as the lag. But when the removable bolt is removed, and the plug is inserted, the assembly blends unobtrusively into the exterior surface. The Flush Anchor system still allows plywood panels to be secured quickly, without tools. The original lag-based hardware is still available from the factory.
