Why is the Philippine Government allowing the distruction of their culture?
Is it the Philippine government who is responsible for this, or the Philippine people themselves? Could the government alone clean up this problem, or do they need all people and grass roots institutions to work together? New York City, Chicago and other major cities were even more corrupt in the 1930s. They were cleaned up. But it wasn’t just the government that did it. It was ordinary people, communities of faith and other grass roots groups that pressured to make it happen. Things change when people really want them to change.
