Why is the outdoor spa not available from Thanksgiving to April?
December through March is the coldest time of the year and temperatures can get well below zero. Not only is it expensive to maintain the spa temperature so that the water in the pipes does not freeze, but even if we tried, a short power outage could cause the water to freeze. Once there is a freeze in any portion of any pipe, the circulation will stop and any water throughout the spa could, and probably would freeze, causing significant damage. We learned this the hard way at an expense of over $2,000 and considerable inconvenience!
