Why is the Oncology Esthetics training held in a hospital facility?

0

In order to provide a more clinical or medical approach, we offer our training in a hospital facility so our students are able to visit oncology bone marrow, general oncology and radiation oncology units. We also believe that all estheticians need to get a clear understanding of this disease, whether it impacts them emotionally or not, and by visiting these oncology units, it elevates the ‘need’ to work with these patients or not. Our stance is to only provide our Oncology Esthetic trainings in medical facilities where oncology units are part of the facility and where we have access too.
