Why is the On-Rev alpha not free?
Setting up the On-Rev service requires a great deal of top quality infrastructure, including dedicated servers, IT support personnel with 24/7 coverage, extensive server application development and much more. We know we need to provide a good enough hosting service for our early customers to start using in a production environment. Real world use of the platform will enable the best possible feedback so we can optimize every aspect of its performance. So by charging we can put the extensive resources in place needed to deliver that world-class service.
