Why is the notifier not working?
The notifier is a separate program that uses Windows registry (unlike the application which is a self-contained program). In order for the Notifier to work, you must have Windows Scripting installed. Generally this is already installed, but if not you can install it manually from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4622-86EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en If the link doesn’t work, search Microsoft’s website for ‘Windows Scripting’. Wscript.exe is the program used to run the notifier. If you are still unable to get the notifier to work, you can test to make sure wscript is actually installed. From the Start menu, select run program and type ‘wscript’. A dialog window should appear for some settings with wscript. You can exit the program. If no dialog window appears, wscript is not installed on your machine (or at least a working copy). Try re-installing the Window’s Scripting.
