Why is the News Archive now split into four separate pages?

The previous “News Archive” page was getting too large as stories no longer listed as one of our “Top News Stories” are added to the archive complete with story related photos, resulting in longer loading periods as additional bandwidth is required. Therefore, to make the new archive pages easier to load and manageable to update, the “News Archive” was recently subdivided into three pages, “2009 News Archive Part One”, “2009 News Archive Part Two”, “2008 News Archive”, and “2005 to 2007 News Archive”.
