Why is the network configuration option disabled when the Create Custom settings option is chosen from the Scan Settings screen?
The logon credentials are not stored in the Custom settings file, hence the option is disabled. Also when scanned using Custom settings file, network errors and insufficient user privileges are ignored and consequently corresponding machines are not scanned, hence the network configuration option is disabled.
