Why is the NES Wiki important?
It might be an overstatement to say that history repeats itself, but certain historical trends do reoccur. By being able to view such data in a singular location, it makes it easier for participants in NESing to see what has gone before, what has worked, what hasn’t, and what they might be able to do. In that regard it serves as important community resource by giving both form and function to the history of the community.
