Why is the multi-use room a different size than before?
The BCom conducted a study of existing and proposed meeting spaces in Town and concluded that while a room sized for 75 people would be nice, it would be tough to justify, since rooms for groups of 35 or fewer are much more in demand, and this size meets the vast majority of library needs. The new building design will have a 35 seat room that can expand into the children’s activity room for larger groups.
