Why is the movie Titanic so romantic and almost addicting?
The story of the Titanic is addicting to anyone who takes a little time to really learn a little about it. It is the worst disaster at sea in the history of man … so many people who didn’t need to die did … there are stories about almost every person that was on the ship … it clearly shows the “rift” between the upper & lower class people and how the rich people didn’t even think the lower class people were “human”. The whole story just pulls you in and will not let you go. The movie takes all these things, shows them to you and then adds a heart breaking love story on top of all of it. The scene with the old couple laying in their bed waiting to die, the scene of the “poor” woman in the room with her kids waiting to die because they were locked in the the lower part of the ship by the “rich” people … the most heart wrenching scene in the entire movie, for me anyways, is when they go back through the bodies looking for survivors and shows the woman in the water holding her baby
