Why is the movie “The Happening” rated R?
The point of the movie is that something is making people kill themselves and a family trying to get away from it. Since everybody in the world is killing themselves, there’s going to be alot of variety in the death sequences. The restricted trailers shows: – A guy jumps off a bulding and you see his twisted body on the ground – A woman stabs herself in the neck with a long hair pin – A guy gets mauled by a lion – A group of corpses are found hanging by the neck – A guy is shot through the chest and you see holes come out his back – A guy gets run over by a tractor Nothing you can allow in a PG-13 film.
