Why is the Montgomery Center sometimes called the Residency Program?

0

The Montgomery Center serves two very important functions. The first is to provide excellent healthcare to our patients. The second is to train doctors in the specialty of Family Medicine. About 25 years ago it was recognized that the Upstate of South Carolina needed more doctors to take care of its growing population. The Montgomery Center was opened in order to help fill that need.
